Master Controller Interfaces

2-Wire System

Features

Operating on our unique patented 2-Wire™ bus system, our 2-Wire™ Master Controller Interfaces supply the power and data signals to a family of 2-Wire™ products using just two standard cables.

Common floor input formats such as discrete wire-per-floor, binary and Gray codes are catered for plus a serial data input port is available.

  • The IND075 2-Wire™ controller interface has 8 inputs, and is a small low-power PCB which can be easily mounted in almost any location.
  • The IND055 2-Wire™ controller interface has 16 inputs is always reconfigurable on site, as no special programming tool is required.

The Input voltage ranges are 12 to 35 volts DC, 12 to 24 volts AC, or 110 volts AC/DC.

The interfaces are supplied with a +24V DC 150W mains power supply. All Drucegrove 2-Wire™ System products are very easy to install; normally two wires to the car and two wires to all the landing indicators. They are equipped with two pairs of power in/out terminals, to enable installation in a “daisy chain” connection down the lift shaft.

  • Dramatically reduces the cost of labour and materials for new installations or refurbishments.
  • Easy to install; normally two wires to the car and two wires to all the landing indicators.
  • Common floor input formats such as wire per floor, binary and Gray code are catered for plus a serial data input port is available.
  • Supports up to 127 addressable floors.
  • Each floor can have floor designation with up to 4 alphanumeric characters.
  • Message text content (maximum length of 120 characters) and image numbers (000 to 255) stored within the IND055 for all indicators.
  • Indicator floor changes update instantly or can be vertically scrolled representing the direction of travel.
  • The IND055 is reconfigurable on site, as no special programming tool is required.

Lift Connectivity

  • The IND075 2-Wire™ controller interface has 8 reconfigurable opto-isolated inputs. The inputs can be configured to accept wire-per-floor, binary or Gray code signals for the lift floor position, and then discrete signals for car travelling and intended next direction, door status, emergency messages, speech trigger, and more.
  • The IND055 2-Wire™ controller interface has 16 reconfigurable opto-isolated inputs. The inputs can be configured to accept wire-per-floor, binary or Gray code signals for the lift floor position, and then discrete signals for car travelling and intended next direction, door status, emergency messages, speech trigger, and more. The function of the IND055 inputs, floor designation table, and other options can be reconfigured on-site using the on-board buttons and LCD display.

Mountings, Fixings & Housings

The IND075 is usually supplied as a small mountable PCB, but Drucegrove can supply it with a metal housing if required.

The IND055 is supplied as a mountable steel box, but we can supply the interface with a customised housing for mounting on your lift controller panel. Our in-house metalwork facilities include laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and engraving which allows us to supply the interfaces ready for mounting in almost any location with a professional finish and minimal hassle.
