Elevator TFT Indicators
Drucegrove’s colour TFT indicators are fully customisable, and at their simplest level offer a wide choice of colours, images, character fonts and arrow styles which can be quickly selected through an easy to use touch screen interface, or over a LAN. The elevator indicators may be configured for lift car or landing displays, and are capable of showing up to three character floor designations, car direction arrows, hall lantern arrows, full screen messages and pictograms. The elevator indicators are DDA compliant, and compatible with the Drucegrove 2-Wire™ System.Almost every characteristic of the TFT indicators may be configured separately for individual elevator floors - potentially allowing for the indicators to change background images and designation colours for different ‘zones’ of floors. The TFT indicators may also be configured to show individual tenancy logos next to floor designations. Advanced settings also include fully flexible sizing and positioning of all elements on the display, allowing any possible configurations to be set up without complex software modifications. The TFT02 and TFT03 also have an onboard battery backed real time clock, which can be configured to show the time and date in different international formats.
Configuration data for the elevator TFT indicators is stored on a removable mini-SD card, allowing for easy swapping of configurations between multiple indicators, and the possibility of configurations being created or modified and sent out from Drucegrove without removing the indicator from installations.
The elevator TFT indicators may also be connected to a Local Area Network (LAN) via their onboard Ethernet socket, and configured from any device on the network (ie, a PC or handheld device). By simply typing the indicator name into the address bar of a standard web browser (ie, Microsoft® Internet Explorer™), lift installers and building managers can access the HTTP based configuration utility and update any characteristic of any indicator connected to the network.
