FireFly™ TFT12 Indicator
Drucegrove’s TFT12 FireFly™ 4.3” full colour TFT indicator is a bright, simple, ultra-modern and versatile display. Utilising the latest in TFT technology from Sharp, the display has an unparalleled viewing angle, with virtually no loss of colour or contrast at almost any angle.
The TFT12 indicator is extremely simple to install and is fully compatible with the Drucegrove 2-Smart™ 2-Wire™ System, eliminating the need for individual power supplies, or expensive screened or twisted pair cables. Each indicator comes equipped with two pairs of loop in/out terminals to enable installation in a “daisy chain” connection down the lift shaft, and additional 2-Wire™ branches can be added to the network, on the landing or car, retrospectively.
Alternatively, the TFT12 may be connected to an Otis® Serial Data system via a Remote Station. The indicator will automatically respond to the Otis® floor designation characters, car direction, car overloaded and emergency messages.
The TFT12 is low profile, and incorporates an on-board gong and outputs for external hall lanterns. It is pre-programmed to a standard universal configuration, with on board dipswitches offering quick and easy configuration options and position address selection. This means that every TFT12 indicator is completely interchangeable and re-locatable without the need for factory re-programming. Dipswitch configuration options include the selection of one of eight appearances, setting orientation, and enabling scrolling and fading transitional effects.
The indicator can display any two-character alpha-numeric floor designation, and as a part of the standard configuration the TFT12 is pre-loaded with a standard library of over 150 full screen pictogram based message images. Floor designations and message images can be easily reconfigured on site from the motor-room using the Drucegrove IND55 2-Smart™ Controller’s floor and message configuration menus.
