Vandal Resistant Lens
A typical landing fixture contains a dot matrix indicator complete with an acrylic lens and, dependant on the location, some indicators may be subject to vandalism, the result an expensive and on-going maintenance problem.The Drucegrove Vandal Resistant Lens has been developed and manufactured to meet the requirements of an elevator installation that is subject to vandalism.
Designed as an attractive and resilient alternative to a standard acrylic lens, it provides a highly vandal resistant retrofit solution, without the need to purchase a new indicator.
Comprising of a self contained fabricated Stainless Steel tray, housing a fire retardant polycarbonate matrix, a Stainless Steel gasket, both compressed and fixed behind a 1mm Stainless Steel backing plate.
DDA & ADA Compliant and available for our 2x 50mm & 3x 50mm dot matrix indicators.
Stainless Steel or decorative and durable Powder Coated options are available.
